About this course
This comprehensive one-day course is delivered by an experienced industry practitioner and provides a detailed understanding of Design and Build contracts. Delegates will explore the importance of the Employer’s Requirements, common contractual risks, the valuation of changes and the responsibilities of the parties when delays occur. The course also examines loss and expense claims, dispute avoidance and the principal methods of resolving contractual disagreements.
Led by a subject expert, delegates will work through realistic project scenarios and develop a practical understanding of the principles, procedures and good practices involved in administering a Design and Build contract. By the end of the course, participants will be better equipped to identify contractual risks, respond effectively to issues as they arise, manage change and delay, and confidently lead projects towards a successful conclusion.
