About this course
The FirePin Masterclass is a practical one-day training programme developed for passive fire protection professionals who want to gain an in-depth understanding of the FirePin platform and use it to its full capability.
Whether you are new to FirePin or an existing user looking to enhance your knowledge, this hands-on course provides step-by-step guidance through every aspect of the software. Delegates will learn how to manage passive fire protection projects from initial setup through to final reporting, ensuring accurate record keeping, improved quality assurance and complete project transparency.
Throughout the day, delegates will work within a live FirePin environment, learning how to create projects, upload drawings, position fire stopping installations using intelligent pin mapping, record installation details, upload photographs, attach manufacturer documentation and produce professional compliance reports.
The course demonstrates how FirePin supports the Golden Thread of Information, helping organisations maintain accurate digital records throughout the lifecycle of a building. Delegates will also learn how to manage multiple buildings and projects, monitor installation progress, assign users and permissions, produce audit trails and track remedial works.
Practical sessions cover FirePin's reporting suite, QR code technology, document management, compliance tracking, project dashboards, quality assurance processes and collaboration features. Delegates will discover how FirePin simplifies inspections, improves communication between project teams and provides clients with transparent, real-time information.
The programme also explores how FirePin can help organisations comply with the Building Safety Act 2022, Building Regulations and industry best practice by maintaining secure, accessible and auditable records of passive fire protection installations.
By the end of the course, delegates will have the confidence to use FirePin effectively within day-to-day operations, improving project efficiency while reducing paperwork, administration time and compliance risks.
